Bringing Mindfulness to Life
Every day, we meet people we don’t know. Embedded in those chance encounters are opportunities to connect and share meaningful present moment experiences. When we do so, our world expands, and our hearts are touched.
In teaching mindfulness practices to a group of individuals, we often are not aware of how these learnings ripple out into community. The informal sharing of these practices, sometimes in frightful circumstances, can have surprising and powerful effects on the lives of others.
We always have a choice in how we respond to what is before us. Coming from openness and curiosity, we have the capacity to take something that we consider annoying and find a new way to experience it.
