Who We Serve

The Center for Mindful Awareness^SM is dedicated to reaching out to underserved communities. We focus our services on families and individuals challenged by homelessness, poverty, abuse, addictions, trauma and complex medical conditions.

We are also dedicated to the direct service providers who work with these communities. Each and every day, teachers, social workers, non-profit administrators, and a myriad of other dedicated professionals put their hearts and souls into helping others. These service providers are at risk for burnout and secondary trauma themselves.

Amy has brought the SHINE^SM program, mindfulness workshops, and mindfulness-based professional development programs to the following organizations, among many others:
